The Barn’s Hurricane Michael Charity: Coming Together to Help the Victims of Hurricane Michael
Time and time again we hear the victims of Hurricane Michael an incredibly destructive storm that devastated much of the Florida Panhandle, say that it is “like a bomb went off”.
The storm has wiped out homes, schools, stores, roadways, infrastructure and more across the area. The need is great and The Barn would like to help. We are asking our customers and the community of Sanford to join us in collecting items that the area will be in dire need of.
Suggested donation items:
Non-perishable foods
Snack bars/ granola bars/ breakfast bars
Cleaning materials and detergents
Diapers and infant formula
Clean blankets and pillows
Soap, shampoo, deodorant
Insect repellent
School supplies/games/toys
Pet food
Clothes
Paper Products
One of the things that we appreciate as residents of Central Florida, including the Sanford area is our sense of community and this is our opportunity to reach out to other communities that are in need and make a difference.
The coming hours, days and weeks will be difficult for our friends in the fellow Florida residents in the Panhandle and every donated item would be greatly appreciated.
Please drop off donations at The Barn, October 11th-14th between the hours of 7pm and 2am.
